This week’s thrift store book haul. These are from 3 different stores but I didn’t spend more than $3 for all of them.
From top to bottom:
Gangster Squad by Paul Lieberman (I recognized this because it was adapted into a movie.)
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte (I already own a copy but this one had a lovely little castle/manor house on the cover)
Every Soul A Star by Wendy Mass
Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli (I remember reading this many times as a kid.)
Choke by Chuck Palahniuk (I love his gritty writing style)
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald (I already own this and am thinking about giving this copy away here or on my Blogger.)
Horns by Joe Hill (I’ve already read this but I didn’t own it and it’s being made into a movie starring Daniel Radcliffe)
Sunshine by Robin McKinley (another that I have already read but didn’t own. It’s about vampires)
Lighthouse Horrors (A selection of horror stories by many well known authors)
The Dinner by Herman Koch (I’m not actually very interested in this one but I’ve seen it around a lot lately and it was in perfect condition)
Shadowmarch by Tad Williams (I think this is fantasy)
Taltos by Anne Rice (I really love the cover on this one. I also really loved this trilogy and only owned this one in paperback)
